After-School Clubs

Keystone Chess Academy delivers structured, school-based chess programs that develop critical thinking, discipline, and confidence—while keeping learning engaging and fun for students.

We partner with K–8 schools across Pennsylvania to offer before-school, after-school, and in-school chess clubs for students of all experience levels. Beginners learn the rules and foundational principles of the game, while more experienced players deepen their understanding of strategy, planning, and decision-making.

Programs are typically one hour in length and are designed to balance instruction with guided practice. Each session includes a focused lesson tailored to student skill level, followed by supervised play where students apply what they’ve learned through active games. All equipment is provided, and instruction is delivered in group classroom settings by background-checked instructors experienced working in schools.
