Refund & Policy Information
After-School Chess Clubs
Refunds
We aim for every student to have a positive experience. If your child is not a good fit, a prorated refund will be issued for remaining sessions, less a $30 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued after 50% of the sessions have been completed.
Missed Classes
No refunds or credits are provided for missed classes due to student absence.
Weather / School Closures
If a session is canceled due to weather or school closure:

We will make reasonable efforts to provide a make-up session

If a make-up is not possible, no refund will be issued
Program Cancellation (Low Enrollment)
If a program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
Late Pick-Up
Students must be picked up promptly at dismissal. If a child is not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled end time, the following late fees will apply:

15–30 minutes: $20

30–60 minutes: $40

60+ minutes: $75
Late fees must be paid prior to the student’s next session.
Chess Camps
Refunds
Cancellations made before 5:00 PM on the Monday prior to camp are eligible for a refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.
Missed Days
No refunds or credits are provided for missed camp days.
Weather Cancellations
If a camp day is canceled due to weather, a prorated refund or credit may be issued at our discretion.
Program Cancellation (Low Enrollment)
If a camp is canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.

General Policies
Behavior Expectations
We are committed to maintaining a positive and structured environment. Students who are consistently disruptive or unable to follow expectations may be removed from the program without refund.
Liability & Participation
Participation in chess programs involves minimal physical risk. By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept responsibility for their child’s participation.
